There are many bars and nightclubs in Dubai, though most of these are located in hotels. The crowd varies from one club to another, but mostly consists of a mix of party goers of both Eastern and Western origin. Most Dubai clubs such as White Dubai , Cavalli Club, Cirque Le Soir , VIP Room and Blue Marlin Ibiza are packed on Thursday and Friday nights Thursday signals the end of the work week and Fridays and Saturdays are weekends for most working people in Dubai. The legal drinking age in Dubai is 21 years of age and night clubs always adhere to this rule. For visitors, a passport is an acceptable form of ID, while for residents, an Emirates ID or a driving license will suffice. If you plan on drinking, make sure you take a cab back home or wherever you plan on going after; the UAE has absolutely no tolerance for drinking and driving and police are very vigilant; getting caught will guarantee jail time. Clubs typically start filling up after 10pm and all night clubs close by 3:00am.
Mumbai is India’s nightlife capital, with bars and clubs that could hold their own with the best in Singapore or Hong Kong, catering to the city’s giants of fashion, finance and film.
Dress codes apply in Mumbai and it pays to make an effort; after all you might well be rubbing shoulders with the cream of Bollywood. Some clubs operate a couples-only policy (look for signs saying no ‘stags’, the local term for single men) and many charge a steep entrance fee.
All the 5-star hotels have bars, where you can drink in air-conditioned and pricey seclusion, but there are also some more relaxed, less contrived watering holes.

With its mixture of exoticism, romance, sense of adventure and plain excitement, nightlife in Thailand is unique. Of course, anyone who has never been to Thailand instantly conjures up visions of A Go-Go bars and sleazy back alley massage parlours; it’s true but not wholly representative of a country that has beautiful traditional dancing, an irrepressible culinary scene and lively bars and nightclubs. ‘One night in Bangkok’ can indeed make a hard man humble but one night in Chiang Mai can charm and one night in Phuket make you longing for more.
